of calculating income tax refunds<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Example 1<\/p>\n<p>For example, let&#039;s take our friend Misha. He is an architect with Profession Lib\u00e9ral status. This gives him the right to reduce the tax base by the amount of contributions <a href=\"https:\/\/rouzade.com\/en\/kak-snizit-nalog-na-dohod-i-uvelichit-budushhuju-pensiju-vo-francii\/\">pension contract<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/rouzade.com\/en\/snizhaem-nalog-na-dohod-predprinimateljam-za-schet-dobrovolnogo-strahovanija\/\">health insurance and Pr\u00e9voyance insurance<\/a> within loi Madelin.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The amount of health insurance contributions amounted to 1,370 \u20ac per year.<\/li>\n<li>The amount of contributions for the additional pension amounted to 4,567 \u20ac per year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a result, Misha will be able to reduce his tax base by \u20ac5,937 next year. If we consider that his TMI (marginal tax rate) is 30%, then he will receive a refund in the amount of:<\/p>\n<p>5,937 x 30 % = 1,781\u20ac<\/p>\n<p>Example 2<\/p>\n<p>Consider, for another example, a taxable couple with two small dependent children who are cared for at home by a nanny at a cost of \u20ac600 per month (i.e. \u20ac7,200 per year):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>income tax = 1600 euros;<\/li>\n<li>tax benefit for care services = 3600 euros (50% from 7200 euros);<\/li>\n<li>refund amount = 2 thousand euros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this case, the difference is returned to the taxpayer.
