pension quarters to be repaid if you were connected to the general scheme (R\u00e9gime General) at the end of your studies.<\/p>\n<p>You must have a French diploma from a higher education institution (\u00e9cole technique sup\u00e9rieure, une grande \u00e9cole) or a preparatory class for these schools.<\/p>\n<p>For the purpose of repayment, the presence of a diploma in one of the following countries is taken into account:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>European Economic Area countries;<\/li>\n<li>Switzerland;<\/li>\n<li>Countries linked to France by an international social security agreement (s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preparatory classes for admission to Grandes Ecoles are equivalent to obtaining a diploma.<\/p>\n<p>During these years of study you should not have been associated with any mandatory pension scheme (r\u00e9gime de retraite obligatoire).<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%d0%a2%d1%80%d0%b5%d0%b1%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b0%d0%bd%d0%b8%d0%b5_%d0%b2%d0%be%d0%b7%d1%80%d0%b0%d1%81%d1%82%d0%b0\"><\/span>Age requirement<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>You must be between 20 and 66 years of age on the date you apply.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that if you are already receiving a General Scheme Old Age Pension, you can no longer pay off your retirement quarters.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%d0%92%d0%b8%d0%b4%d1%8b_%d0%bf%d0%be%d0%b3%d0%b0%d1%88%d0%b5%d0%bd%d0%b8%d0%b9\"><\/span>Types of repayments<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can ask to repay quarters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>or at the calculated labor pension rate (which makes it possible to reduce or cancel the reducing rate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.service-public.fr\/particuliers\/vosdroits\/F19666\">decote<\/a>),<\/li>\n<li>or by the rate and duration of insurance used to calculate the pension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once a choice has been made, it cannot be changed.<\/p>\n<p>You can make quarterly redemptions multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>You can also combine repayments for higher education years with other repayments if you meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Incomplete years during which your professional activity did not allow you to confirm 4 quarters.<\/li>\n<li>Periods of training or work as a nanny.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Redemption requests are only accepted for full quarters (1 to 12).
